Well done for getting this site going again its most informative. I am thinking of coming down for the Easter regatta but will confirm January. Last year I towed my boat to Maputo arriving the same time as the Vasco 

de Gama fleet from Dbn and Cape. The day before the start of the main Vasco race I joined the fleet in a tune up race around the bay of Maputo in which  all the dhows were also invited It was fantastic and chaos all over with the dhows not knowing a rule of the road etc. After the main fleet started off the next day we cruised to Inhaca island and had a ball. Club Naval yacht club treated us like celebrities and are inviting holiday 23 owners to join in next years Vasco tune up race and all the festivities that go with this race.
